D'Arcy Weil is representing a major Australian energy business to appoint a Strategy Analyst within its corporate strategy function. The business sits at the centre of Australia's energy transition, and this role contributes directly to the decisions that shape its position, working with and informing the Board, Executive and senior leadership. The role You would bring analytical depth and strategic clarity to the forces reshaping Australia's energy landscape, producing well-reasoned insight and recommendations that equip senior leadership to make confident, evidence-based decisions. It is a role with genuine influence at the top of the business, spanning energy system analysis, framework development, strategic planning and executive engagement. What you'd do Examine the structural trends, policy shifts and market dynamics shaping Australia's energy sector, drawing on domestic and international comparisons to surface strategic implications for the business Build and apply the analytical frameworks needed to structure complex strategic questions and test hypotheses thoroughly Support the development of organisational strategy, roadmaps and initiative planning across the annual corporate planning cycle Track the delivery and impact of strategic programmes against agreed measures Distil complex analysis into clear, structured recommendations accessible and actionable for senior audiences including the Board and Executive Executive engagement This is a role with direct exposure to the most senior levels of the business. You would translate demanding analysis into clear recommendations for the Board and Executive, giving you visibility and influence well beyond a typical analyst position.
